Leadership Bias: Understanding Its Impact on Workplace Culture and Decision-Making
In this rapidly evolving business world, companies highly invest in leadership development, employee engagement, and diversity in the workplace. However, many companies continue to face an even deeper and less obvious problem of leadership bias. Leadership bias is a very powerful determinant of the choices about hiring, promotion, team collaboration, innovation, and even shaping the culture of the organization. Although many leaders think that they make decisions objectively, in fact, their unconscious assumptions and cognitive patterns often affect the way people are evaluated and managed.
